My Most Popular Song To Date

I don't know if anyone was wondering what my most popular song is, but I'll tell you anyway. Here at Studio Sarah Records whenever we open up "Gardening from the Ground Up Part 1" on iTunes it looks like the popularity indicators have gone in an unexpected direction. This has lead me to believe that those indicators are not so accurate. Here are the true rankings from all the digital sales combined.

I have to point out that the rankings are very close, so none of you are losers here!

As you can see, the ranking almost goes in the order of the album except that Be My Friend Always has surpassed Missing You Now. As you might know if you read the song descriptions in the music section here on the site, Be My Friend Always is my favorite song. The recording process was very enjoyable for me and the finished product fully met my vision for the song. But, I have always loved Wake Up and am so glad to hear how much others have found meaning in it's lyrics.

New Website Launch / Album Update

I hope everyone likes the new site.  I've been so busy on the last finishing touches of the album that I know I've been neglecting you all!  

Album Update:

The good news is that the mastering process is almost complete and so is the album artwork!  Studio Sarah Records and Studio Sarah Music Publishing are also about to get logos!  And the official release date for Gardening from the Ground Up Part 1 is.....December 2nd!!!  

Something I also have in the works is putting together a super awesome humungous band.  I will let you guys know when we book our first gig/album release party.

Creative Commons Announcement

Today I would like to announce officially that Gardening from the Ground Up Part 1, my debut album, will be licensed with a Creative Commons' Attribution Non-commercial Share Alike License (by-nc-sa)! My music will NOT bear the copyright symbol with the words "all rights reserved," it will bear the Creative Commons symbol for the BY-NC-SA license... I'm letting go of some rights and it feels so RIGHTS! Wait, I mean RIGHT!
