Christmas Song Fundraiser Show at The Rock Shop, Brooklyn, NY

    

 

Last night was my Christmas Song Fundraiser Show at The Rock Shop in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY! This show was my best ever! The band sounded amazing and I enjoyed incorporating some dance moves for the very first time! (I love the picture above of all of us together right after we finished the show. I'm so lucky to be able to work with such talented musicians.)

This year I'm recording a cover song of the Christmas classic, Sleigh Ride, to release as a single during the holidays. And even though Christmas is far off, I have to plan way ahead to have it ready in time for the season. Along with this show I will be launching a kickstarter campaign very soon, so I hope if you couldn't make it out to the show, you will be able to give online! This Christmas song is an extra project for me, so I can only do it if it is fan-funded!

Pete's Candy Store Show Wrap Up

December 4th at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn was a fun night. Cafe Orwell Wrap Up

What a successful show!

I had such a great time performing at the new Cafe Orwell concert series, Bushfolk. There wasn't an empty seat in the house and the audience was so focused and attentive. I enjoyed discovering the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, it has such a thriving artist community. My cellist, Caleigh, is so lucky to live in the area and work at Cafe Orwell.

We're now looking forward to our Rockwood Music Hall gig on Monday, June 15 at 6PM. Please come by after work and bring friends. We will be debuting another new song!

(our very first Brooklyn show) but we're also honored to be the first band to kick off Cafe Orwell's new folk concert series, Bush Folk! After our show, my friend from high school in Houston, Texas, Matt Jones, will be performing. (There are also rumors of a BBQ that will be hosted at the Hostel next door afterward.)

If that's not enough, Brooklyn Independent Television will be documenting the evening and airing the footage on their show, Brooklyn On Site. It is currently scheduled to air on Monday, June 11th at 3PM and 11PM. It also looks like their shows are available to watch over the internet if you can't find them here...

Brooklyn Independent Television ended up doing their interview with the owner of Cafe Orwell earlier in the day and didn't cover the performance. Maybe next time.
