Yesterday I joined a new site called Society6.com.  I join sites frequently, but I'm especially excited about this one BECAUSE it is focussed on giving grants to all different kinds of artists.  It seems to me that even if you're just a regular person, you can set up a grant to give and receive applications from artists on the site.  The grants you can offer start at $100.  I don't know how far only $100 will take an artist now a days, but it's not a bad minimum to start from! But, it is not tax-deductible.

I haven't applied for any grants yet, but I will keep my eyes pealed.  I love creative ideas like this site that can help artists make their creativity into reality and I have already noticed some VERY talented people using the site.

I'll let you guys know if I win any grants!
